A travelling open air market in Helsingborg (2)

Today I went back to the travelling open air market which is visiting Helsingborg. The weather was nice, and most seller seemed to have a lot of customers. Today was the last day for the market here. Tomorrow they will be in Halmstad, about one hour's drive northwards along the coast. One of the stall keepers told me that in addition to Sweden the market lately has also toured in neighbouring Denmark och Norway.

A travelling open air market in Helsingborg

This week a travelling international open air market has visited Helsingborg. The colourful market stalls looked quite nice in the grey October weather. My favorite stand was the French patisserie, which offered a lot of culinary delights. Particularly their vanilla flans were tasty!

Dutch cargo ship Isis with problems in Øresund?

The Dutch cargo ship Isis (111 x 14m, 3990 dwt) appears to have some problem right now. The ship, which is supposed to be on its way from Swedish Gävle to Nador Marocco, was going northwards in the Sound, but just after Helsingborg it turned around and stopped. When I am writing this, the Isis still lies anchored outside of Hittarp (waiting for a tugboat?).

After lying still for about 5 hours, the Isis turned around a few minutes ago and is now continuing northwards in the Sound. If it was a technical problem, which is likely, the crew apparently was able to fix it. Hopefully the Isis will have a safe journey to Nador Marocco!
